At the Geneva Motor Show, in addition to the newest cars are on display and not quite traditional vehicles. For example, KIA has introduced a new generation of electric bicycles K-velo (images, alas, will not be published – is given only a silhouette of one of the versions).

The prototype is equipped with a K-velo electric production Bosch, the torque from which is transferred to the rear wheel. Move, of course, it is possible and in the traditional way – by pedaling.

The bike is designed in two versions – City (City) and mining (IET). In both versions applied electric power of 250 W, is the torque of 45 Newton meters. Power is supplied by a lithium-ion polymer battery voltage of 36 V, having an energy reserve of 10 Ah. Maximum speed when driving on electricity is 25 km / h.

City version has a universal design, typical for regular visits. Used the option “open” low frame, the battery is secured behind. On the bike mounted 28-inch wheels and mudguards. Declared cruising range on one charge reaches 70 km.
