At Design Week Milan Design Week in Italy, Asus showed its new smart watch called VivoWatch. The main feature of the gadget is the ability to work without recharging for 10 days.
Smartwatch equipped with a touch screen with a light sensor, and on the back of the Asus VivoWatch is a heart rate monitor. Housing with metal frame protected by standard IP67, allowed temporary immersion in water to a depth of one meter. The device counts steps, distance and calories expended while, in addition, the manufacturer claims to support tracking function of sleep.
Instead Android Wear Asus engineers used a different platform. Vivo on prefix in the title we can assume that the gadget is running a version of Windows 10 for wearable electronics. It is also known that the new product is based on a chip from MediaTek, and to communicate with the smartphone provides wireless module Bluetooth.
Asus VivoWatch soon appear on store shelves in Europe for a suggested price of 150 euros.
