Power supplies AeroCool branded products KCAS among well-known companies belongs to the affordable price range, but they have all the signs of quality PSU. Fill up a series of recent models with indices of different modular cabling and have a capacity of 650, 750, 850 and 1000 watts. Today we look at the younger, 650-watt modification.

AeroCool KCAS-650M 650 W rated power can give 624 watts + 12V line. Lines 5 and 3.3 have to share ration of 130 watts.

The rectifier is designed as a diode assembly in a single body with ample par value of current – 10 A, only without the radiator.

There is a block of active power factor correction, although it is implied by default for a modern PSU. The main voltage converter is built on a forward topology with two switching transistors.
